Tiger fact

The Tiger is one of the world’s most powerful hunters  because they kill a lot of animals.
The Tiger is a part of the cat family because it as a tail  


Tigers are found in Cambodia, China, Laos, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Bengal Tiger’s coat blends in with the shadows of its habitat - forest and marshy grasslands. It helps the Tiger stalk its prey without being seen Because they hide in bushes .


Male Bengal Tigers can grow to 3.5 metres , including the tail and  can weigh up to 200 kilograms. Females are smaller: up to about 2.6 metres and between 100 - 160 kilograms.
A tigress normally gives birth to two or three cubs but there can be as many as six or seven. new born cubs normally weight 0.9 - 1.4 kilograms and measure 22 - 39 centimetres long.


The tiger’s razor sharp teeth are specially designed for tearing meat off the bone. The main  top food chain is a Peacock ,Sambar deer , Buffalo , SlothBear , Porcupine.


They sometimes sleep in den’s that are next to water so if they see an animal passing through the water is would stalk its prey then eat it. Tiger’s are really dangers. Tigers keep away from packs of wild dogs but they may attack a small pack and steal its food. Wild Buffaloes can kill tigers with their horns. But  tigers can usually kill a Buffalo.
